Flicktease is a bright and breezy film review and chat show which
discusses the merit or lack of merit of films screening across the
country. Flicktease screens on community television WTV on channel 44 in
Perth on each and every Friday at 8.30pm. It is repeated midday
Thursdays.
Flicktease is made up of a quartet of film enthusiasts and amateur film
reviewers who have taken advantage of public access television and the web
to air their unenlightened and misguided views on old and new films. The
on-air team is comprised of quick-witted host ANDRE STEPHENSON,the
vivacious COZ BROWN,comic book aficionado LEWIS SUTTON and obsessive film
buff GAVIN BOND.
flicktease first appeared on ACCESS 31 in Perth on March 2000 and has churned out nearly 400 shows. Special guests over this time have included BRYAN BROWN, DAVID STRATTON, MICK MOLLOY, PHILLIP NOYCE, FRED SCHEPISI, NICK GIANNOPOULOS, SAM WORTHINGTON, ROLF DE HEER, MEGAN SPENCER and other such celluloid luminaries.
flicktease is dedicated to presenting honest reviews devoid of commercial considerations, unearthing film gossip and trivia for film buffs and making retro DVD recommendations courtesy of the zany NICK LEWIS.
